INFORMATIVE NOTE ABOUT TECHNICAL AND SESSION COOKIES, in compliance to art. 13 of Legislative Decree no.196/2003

The rules governing the use of so-called "cookies" and other similar tools (Web Beacons/Web Bugs, clear GIFs, etc.) in the terminals (personal computer, notebook, tablet PC, smartphone, etc.) used by users, has recently been amended following the implementation of Directive 2009/136 which amended Directive "e-Privacy" (2002/58/EC) and the measure "Identification of simplified procedures for the information and the acquisition of consent for the use of cookies - May 8, 2014".

Cookies are small text files that the websites visited by users send to their terminals (usually the internet browser), where they are stored before being re-transmitted to the same sites at the next visit. Cookies are used to authenticate users, monitor browsing sessions and store information about the users accessing the server and, normally, are present in each user's browser in a very high number.

In this regard, we can therefore identity two main categories of cookies: "technical" cookies and "profiling" cookies.

This website only uses technical cookies, i.e. those used for the sole purpose of carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communication network, or strictly and necessarily - for an information company service provider, as explicitly requested by the user - to provide a service (cfr. art. 122, paragraph 1 of the Code). These cookies are not used for other purposes and are normally and directly installed by the website owner or manager. They can be divided into the categories of "navigation cookies" or "session cookies" and guarantee the normal use and navigation of the website (by allowing, for example, to purchase items or authenticate in order to access a restricted area of the website); analytics cookies, similar to technical cookies when used directly by the website manager to collect information, in aggregated form, about the number of users and the way they use the website; functionality cookies, which allow the user to browse the website according a series of selected criteria (for example language, items selected for purchase), in order to improve the service offered by the website.

For the installation of these cookies, the prior approval by the users is not requested, while the website manager is subject to the obligation to provide the information pursuant to art.13 of the Code, in the ways that are deemed most appropriate.

The acquisition and processing of data from the use of technical cookies is required for the consultation of this website. If you do not agree to their acquisition, the complete and correct vision of the company website will not be possible.

Excluding technical cookies, the general rule for the storage of information in the terminal device of a contractor or user, or for the access to information that has already being stored, remains the rule of the informed and prior consent by the user (opt-in). This means that all the cookies that do not qualify as technical, which also are more critical in terms of protection of the user’s privacy, such as - for example - cookies used for profiling and marketing, cannot be installed on the users' device if said users have not been adequately and preventively informed and have not given their explicit consent.

That said, we confirm that no personal user data is acquired by this website. We do not use cookies to transmit personal information, we do not use so-called persistent cookies of any kind, nor systems for tracking users.

The use of so-called session cookies (i.e. temporary cookies, automatically deleted from the terminal at the end of browsing session, by closing the browser) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of server-generated random users) that are necessary to allow a safe and efficient exploration of this website.

The so-called session cookies in this website avoid the use of other techniques that are potentially prejudicial to the privacy of the users, and do not allow the acquisition of personal identification data.

We do not use, in any way, computer techniques for the direct acquisition of personal identification data.

The so-called session cookies, once the connection to the website ends, are not retained. Therefore, the systems do not use cookies for the transmission of personal information not persistent cookies of any kind.

Most browsers allow you to control, change and prevent the installation of cookies through the settings of their preferences. However, the restriction of the websites' ability to set cookies can compromise their usability and prevent the proper functionality of the website.

In compliance to the Decree 196/2003, the treatment will be based on principles of fairness, legality and transparency and protection of your privacy and your rights. Anonymous data are treated by the managers and data processors for the proper fulfillment of the indicated purposes. These data are not subjected to disclosure.
