Sand Core Production

Mazzucconi produces sand cores used in the low-pressure die casting process as well as in the gravity casting process.

The sand cores are produced with the traditional technologies as well as with the innovative inorganic sand core process.

The inorganic sand cores have found application on a wider industrial scale in recent years only, in order to respect more and more stringent environmental requirements. Mazzucconi is one of the first independent foundries on the market able to offer this kind of process in series production.

The process does not only offer advantages in terms of environmental impact, but offers advantages from a quality point of view as well due to the reduced emission of gasses during the casting process.
